Chapter Six

The tantalizing aroma of bacon frying woke James from a deep sleep. He reached his hand next to him and was startled when he felt nothing but an empty bed and cold sheets.

During the night they had woken up from their nap. Feeling frisky, but also with the strong need to be clean, they ended up taking a long, hot shower together and made love again. James loved how they both seemed to not be able to get enough of each other, so much so, he thought they were about to do it again for the fourth time in his bed. But both men were apparently more exhausted than they realized, and they ended up giving each other slow, lazy touches and kisses until they both fell asleep.

He got out of bed and walked over to his dresser. Rummaging through it, he found his well-loved gray sweatpants and slid them onto his body. His body tingled with the anticipation of being around his mate again, and just the thought of Charlie making himself home in his kitchen brought a contented smile on his face.

James ran his tongue over his teeth and cringed at the stale taste in his mouth. As much as he wanted to be with Charlie, he had a few things he needed to take care of before he ventured into the kitchen to see his mate. Deciding he needed to take care of his morning rituals first, he walked into the bathroom and relieved his full bladder. Afterward, he washed his hands and face and grabbed his toothbrush. Charlie must have used it because the bristles were still damp. James smiled from the joy of Charlie being comfortable enough with him to use it. The intimacy of it pleased him as he put a dollop of toothpaste onto it and brushed his teeth. He glanced at himself in the mirror and chuckled from the bed-head look of his hair and ran his fingers through it to try to tame the wayward locks down. Finally satisfied, James walked toward the kitchen and to his mate with a spring in his step.

Spending an incredible night with Charlie gave him a deep, contented feeling. He knew he could easily get addicted to feeling this lighthearted and happy, and James hoped it was the first morning of many that he felt this way in his future.

He quietly walked through the house into the kitchen. James watched Charlie flip the bacon over with a fork while he hummed quietly to himself. From the kitchen window, the rays of the morning sun accentuated Charlie’s body. Long and lean, Charlie looked fit without being overly muscled. James was silently thankful that his mate wasn’t as bulked up like he was. He enjoyed the sight of Charlie’s tight form, and as he watched his lover begin to shake his hips, James’s eyes zeroed onto the delectable swell of Charlie’s rounded ass. His ass made James’s mouth water, and his prick stirred with interest as his fingers craved to touch the sweet mounds that shook so tantalizingly at him.
